In Style, The News & Observer, U.S. Airways' Attaché, Easy Jet INK, Transitions Abroad, The Broadsheet, Barcelona Metropolitan, Quicksilver). Have also worked on the Thomas Cook "Catalonia and the Spanish Pyrenees" guide, Time Out’s "Barcelona" guide, Avalon’s "Moon Metro Barcelona" and two still-unpublished Spain guides for The AA. Projects in progress include the Lonely Planet guide to the Canary Islands.

Coordinated the creation of the premier issue of a leading U.S. magazine for its Spanish publication; responsibilities included international communication, content development, market studies, organization and creation of articles about various topics (ex: technology, travel, consumer products, fashion and beauty) Hymsa: One of the largest editorial companies of Spain, publishing more than 20 monthly titles. .

Nov. 01 – Nov.02   -  Grupo Planeta, Emecé. Barcelona. Primary Reader. Responsible for reading unpublished texts and making recommendations about their publication for the Spanish market. Grupo Planeta: The largest publisher in Spain, 7th largest in the world.

Aug. 99 - May 00   -  Tribune Media Services. Chapel Hill, N.C. USA. University Education Correspondent for TMS Campus wire service. Reported about tendencies in university education, special events and unusual occurrences in campuses nationwide. Tribune Media Services: Large American editorial group and news agency. TMS Campus readers: 2.1 million. .

Jan.-July 2000   -  Durham Herald Sun/ Chapel Hill Herald. Chapel Hill, N.C. USA. Reporter and Columnist. Sole reporter covering Chatham county news (gov't, economy, society) and author of bi-weekly human-interest column. Durham Herald Sun: daily newspaper with more than 125,000 readers. .

Sept. 98 - May 00   -  Blue & White. Chapel Hill, N.C. USA. Editor in Chief. Co-founder of university magazine. Responsible for entire editorial staff, the creation of corporate image, content development and planning, marketing supervision and writing.
