Vicky Hayward has written on social issues, food and the arts for The Big Issue, The Sunday Times, Songlines, The Independent on Sunday, The Age (Australia), La Revista: El Mundo (Spain), The Guardian,  Marie Claire (US, UK, Turkey), BBC Good Food, Foods from Spain, the Oxford Companion to Food etc. Her travel writing includes Insight’s pocket guides to Madrid and the Costa Blanca, now in their 6th and 4th editions and their new guide to Valencia. As senior editor of Booth-Clibborn Editions, she worked on books ranging from Nigel Coates’ Ecstacity to Young British Art: the Saatchi Decade and Stephen Bayley’s General Knowledge. Projects growing out of her writing on flamenco have included consultancies on Mike Figgis’ films Flamenco Women and Hotel, translation and programming.  She is working on a book to be published in 2008.
